今日は　さむかったです。でも、私は　ゆきが　好きです。さむい日が　あついな日より　好きです。週末に　友達と　いっしょに　としょかんで　べんきょうしました。そのあとでえいがをみました。えいがは　ラシア (Russian) の　えいがでした。えいがは　ちょっと　へん(weird)でしたが、おもしろくて、よかったです。週末は　よかったです。えいがを　みるのは　好きですが、べんきょするのは　好きじゃありません。

SO EXCITED

一番　好きな　本は ふしぎの国のアリス　（Alice in Wonderland)です。　Sadly, it's more of an obsession really. I have the original facsimile, the annotated version, a 1940's version, and modern version, several books on the philosophical study of Alice in Wonderland,and movies of it ranging from the Czech version to the most recent with Johnny Depp (which wasn't that impressive by the way) . So basically anything book or movie related to Alice in Wonderland I have it. I've also been trying to collect that book in different languages as well!
So~ the reason why I'm so excited is because I got the Sequal to Alice in Wonderland, aka Through the Looking Glass in Japanese!!!!!!!!!!

The vocabulary is not too difficult and all the kanji has hiragana translations since the recommended age is for elementary to middle school children.
I really wish I could get the japanese version of Alice in Wonderland but it's currently not available at a reasonable price T___T

私のふゆ休み

私のふゆ休みはひまでつまらなかったです。私はたくさんねて、本をよんで、かんこくりょうりをたくさんたべて、かぞくとあそんで、GREというしけんの(exam called..)べんきょうをしました。でもいちばんよくしたもの(event)はねることでした(sleeping)。でもひとつ(one)たのしかったひも(fun day)あります。それはともだちとともだちのかぞくといっしょにシカゴにいったときです。シカゴはここからくるまでにじかんぐらいかかります。私はおんがくをきいて、ともだちとはなしました。
わたしたちはちゅうごくレストランでチャチャンメン (a type of noodles)と中ごくりょうりをたべました。すっごくおいしかったから (really good)、私はたくさんたべました。そのあと、かんこくのスパーでかいものをしました。たべものをたくさんかって、かわいいノートとボールペンもかいました。シカゴはほんとうにたのしかったです (really fun)。
でもおもしろかったのはそれだけでした(this was my only fun event)。ふゆ休みはとてもながくて(really long)つまらなかったから、はやく学校にかえりたいでした( I wanted to go back to school quickly)。
